All EAU BAGS are slow-made and handcrafted by skilled artisans in the dedicated studio in India. The owners visit their studio regularly to spend time with the team and oversee the making of each collection.

The stripes are made from recycled nylon - an upcycled material created from waste like discarded fishing nets, old carpets and factory off-cuts. These materials are collected, cleaned and melted down before being spun and hand-dyed into new nylon yarn.

The yarn is then woven into our durable striped fabric before being cut, stitched and assembled by hand into your most used bag.

Because these materials have lived a life before becoming an EAU BAG, you may notice subtle variations in colour, texture or stitching. These are not defects, but part of the bag’s story - proof it was made by real hands, from materials that once existed elsewhere.
